We managed dozens of servers and couldn't find a convenient solution. So we built our own.
Why we built Deploykin
We managed dozens of servers for our own projects and clients. Every new server means hours of setup: packages, web server, firewall, certificates, monitoring, backups.
Existing tools covered part of the job, but something was always missing: an awkward interface here, a missing feature there, no decent way to edit configs without SSH.
We made a list of what we wanted to see in the ideal tool and started building Deploykin.
The list it all started with
